   Straight Acting is a documentary about gay men who do “manly” things such as rugby and rugged rodeo games. We watched just a clip of it in class, but it is definitely something I would like to see more of! It is really cool to see people breaking a stereotype, and bringing masculinity back to homosexual men. usually anything testosterone building (football, rugby, rodeo) is thought of as untouched by “the gays.” When I watched this documentary I was very excited to see openly gay men claiming “straight” sports for themselves!

   I think my “manly” gay friend might find this very interesting.  Not that he was ever a sports enthusiast.  But I do know he was interested the more “manly” type of homosexual.
